The Mountain Is Coming! The Mountain Is Coming!
The Quebec Ski Areas Association (ASSQ) is pleased to announce the return of its travelling ski hill, Mysnow Experience.
This activity is aimed at two groups. During the week, the ASSQ provides 1½-hour alpine skiing lessons to groups of up to 40 children from kindergarten to grade 2. On weekends, Mysnow Experience is open to children from 5 to 8 years of age accompanied by a parent. In this way, moms and dads play an active role in helping their children learn how to ski.
A Ski Area Designed for Kids!
Portable snowblowers are used to transform local hills into miniature ski runs. A special magic carpet lift takes the wee schussboomers to the top ofthe “mountain”, where experienced trainers teach them basic skiing technique. Ski gear (skis, helmets and boots) is provided at no cost,though a piece of ID is required to borrow gear for the weekend. The Mysnow Experience team will pull out all the stops to ensure the kids experience the joy of skiing and have a great time playing outdoors.This portable ski area can be set up in less than 24 hours.
